Grossman wins the women's final with a last-minute top

The Boulder World Cup at Letná culminated in a dramatic battle for medals in the women's competition. In the final moments of the evening, Natalia Grossman, the queen of the last three seasons of the series, secured her victory in an incredible atmosphere.

Thanks to successes on the first and second boulders, it looked like a triumph for France for a long time, but Naïlé Meignan ultimately had to settle for silver. In the last seconds, American Natalia Grossman solved the final boulder and was the only one to reach the top. The 2021 world champion thrilled the present fans with her successful move and could begin celebrating her victory.

"I was slowly losing hope that I could finish the last boulder, but in the end, I found a way, and now I’m incredibly happy. The Prague crowd was one of the best I’ve experienced in my career," the winner commented on the competition.

The podium was completed by bronze medalist Oceania Mackenzie from Australia.
